Christy Glasow was born in Denver, CO but moved to Texas as a toddler and spent most of her childhood growing up in San Antonio. She solidified her Texan status by attending the University of Texas at Austin for college and then moving to the University of Texas at Houston for medical school.
Wanting to spread her love of Texas to other states, Christy headed to Washington University/St Louis Children's Hospital for pediatric residency and then finished out her training with her cardiology fellowship at Emory and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in Georgia. Following her training, Christy was ready to come home to Texas and renew her bond with the lonestar state.
Christy is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and Texas Medical Association. She is an avid runner and enjoys traveling to visit her family during her vacations.
